The AFTC team in preparation to explore some towns (Ukehe and ikolo) in Enugu state Nigeria had to convey on the Island part of Ajah Lagos state Nigeria for easy access through Epe-ijebu ode road. And it was about 4am in the morning when the Team set out for the road journey of about 7 to 8hours. Thanks to Almighty God who granted us a safe trip to Enugu (Ukehe) around 12pm, straight to the business of the day, we met with our first host (Mrs. Okpe) who briefed us about the time for the early morning shoot the following day. So as early as 4am we were on our fits, lightning, camera rolling and action! In the end our host prepared one of the African best delicacy Okpa, and after the shoot, our team decided to visit ogbede junction, where bush meat and fresh palm wine were served , some of the Team members who hasn't tasted fresh palm wine and bush meat before were filled with joy for doing so and all thanks to AFTC welfare team. The following day we continued with the business of the day and a lot of shoots were done one after the other and we spent one week in Enugu. On the sixth day, we went on top of one of the hills in Ikolo, Oh! My God you need to see the beauty of the area, God is really awesome, looking at the surroundings, fresh breeze we felt like not going but in other to continue with our mission around Africa, we left for Enugu town, where we slept and as early as 4am we left for Lagos. You might be wondering why do we keep to 4am hmmm... it's just timing for easy movement. And to God be the Glory we arrived at Lagos by 11am in the morning. All thanks to God Almighty. In the space of the little time we spent in Enugu. We were able to taste varieties of dishes and among them is the Ofe Ogbono also prepared by one of the locals. This is your usual Ogbono except that this came out with a more nice flavor because of the vegetable added to it. The recipe for this delicious meal is coming soon.


A meal of Ayaraya Ji prepare by a Local. This delicious meal of Ayara Ji was eaten with so much satisfying local food orgasm.
